Elbow fractures are usually caused by trauma and can be repaired in a number of ways.
Once movement is allowed, physiotherapy can speed recovery by using mobilisation and exercise.
The biceps is the dominant muscle which bends your elbow (Popeye muscle.) This muscle can be torn when using the arm to do forceful activities.
Once this injury has been diagnosed, physiotherapy can help with reducing swelling and pain and in regaining full use of the arm, using cryotherapy (cold), ultrasound, massage and exercises.
